Basic Class Details
Basic
Obedience is an 8 week class offered
to all dogs 16 weeks old and up, no
pet is too old to start. This class
focuses on basic skills sit, stay,
come, heeling plus developing social
skills with both people and other
dogs. The emphasis is on teaching
the owner/handler how to properly
train and communicate. Any trouble
areas you may encounter will also be
addressed such as jumping, biting
and any control issues. The classes
are taught using praise and
communication so our methods are
quickly understood by the dog.
Because of this we do not need to
rely on high correction level
collars or treats to get your
animal's attention. We teach with
updated behavioral methods so you
will start to see a response from
your pet after just one or two
classes. Class size is an important
aspect of training. Monday and
Tuesday classes are larger with
multiple instructors. Friday class
is kept smaller with one instructor.
By providing multiple instructors
and limiting size you and your pet
will receive the attention you need.
